I'll just start with J Ann J's Britches and get it over with.  We're half sisters, as I said before, and just seem to bicker about everything.

Her momma is Jetter's Jesse and mine is Muddy River's Taffy. Our dad is Swiftwater's Beowulf, but daddy always liked me best!

"DID NOT!"!

"DID TOO"!

"DID NOT"!

"DID TOO"!

"DID NOT"!

Okay Britt, all this arguin' has made me tired, you take over the introducin', I'm going to take a nap....("did too")

Well Shadow, anything you can do, I can do better. Enjoy your little nap!

J Ann J's BritchesHi ya'll! My official name is J Ann J's Britches.  I got that name 'cause when I was a pup, the spots on my backside looked like britches.  Once I grew up, you might say I got "too big for my britches", so they they got cut to Britt.

My favorite game is re-arranging pastures.  It just rackles my hackles to see a pasture with cows all scattered around, it just ain't tidy.  They need to be in a neat little bunch, and that's where the game comes in.  I get out there and run them into a bunch and they try to get away.  Once I have them all gathered up, I keep runnin' around the bunch to make sure they stay put!  It's a great game....I always win.  Right about now, one or two cowboys join in the fun, and me and them move those critters anywhere we want 'em to go!   I get to "head 'em up" and keep 'em together, and they just rides along behind (which don't seem like all that much fun to me, but they seem to enjoy it).

Now occasionally a bull (or a mad cow), wants to "save face" and tries to intimidate me, but I just get in their face and tell them how "the cow ate the cabbage"!  Whew.........it just don't get any better than this!  Out-intimidatin' a bull might seem a little foolhardy, but heck, I've seen some fool dogs chasin' down the road tryin' to intimidate a pick-up truck!   Ya know, folks, that just ain't gonna happen.

Bein' a Catahoula gives us the upper hand in any situation.  Brains, agility, (not to mention good looks) and the prime ingredient that starts with a grrr and rhymes with Britt, is GRIT - that's it!  Hope I didn't lose anybody, guess I got a little carried away.  Well come on, let's get started with the girls.
